NAME, TYPE AND CATEGORY OF THE FUND: Alkhabeer Growth and Income Traded Fund, a Shari’a compliant closed-ended traded investment fund established in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and regulated by the Capital Market Authority (CMA).

INVESTMENT OBJECTIVE: The Fund’s investment objective is to increase the Fund’s Net Asset Value by boosting the performance of the Fund’s investments in the long term and generating current income to investors from the dividend distributions of the companies in which the Fund invests, in addition to part of the capital appreciation resulting from the growth of market value of the securities invested in. This is achieved by investing in a diversified portfolio of global equities, public and private equities, initial public offerings of companies, private placements, cash and cash equivalents.

DEALING DAYS: During the daily trading hours through licensed Intermediaries.

VALUATION DAYS: Daily. The Fund Manager will valuate the Fund’s NAV per Unit every Business Day. The NAV per Unit shall be published on the Business Day following the Valuation Day. If any such day is not a Business Day, the Valuation Day shall be the following Business Day.

FUND’S NAV PER UNIT ANNOUNCEMENT DAYS: The Fund’s NAV per Unit shall be published on the website of Saudi Tadawul and the website of the Fund Manager.

INITIAL OFFERING PRICE: means the price at which Units will be offered during the Initial Offering Period, being SAR 10;

Alkhabeer Global Equity Index (the “Index”) is a customized Index which purpose is to support in measuring the Fund performance over time. The Index is a Shariah compliant global diversified equity Index that includes listed companies of the leading markets across different sectors. The Index includes 160 listed global companies, in addition to the largest 10 listed companies on the Saudi Stock Exchange. In general, the listed global companies included in the index are selected by market capitalization: the top 70 companies in terms of market capitalization among the large-cap companies will represent 85% of the global universe, the top 50 companies in terms of market capitalization among the mid-cap companies will represent 10% of the global universe, the largest 40 companies in terms of market capitalization among the small-cap companies will represent 5% of the global universe. The Index universe is reconstituted annually with the Index maximum weight for any country is capped at 60% and the maximum weight for any company is capped at 5% and on the index level, and the Index is screened and rebalanced quarterly for Shariah compliance.
